I have started this blog post quite a few times. I had an idea to write about snails and butterflies. Yes…great subjects I know…but funnily enough the words aren’t flowing. I guess I am rusty after taking a break from the online world.
Alright let’s give it a whirl…no more deleting…just write!
So Snails and Butterflies you say? Yes Snails and Butterflies!
I was thinking yesterday about how I could sum up the last couple of months that I have had…and immediately a snail came into my mind. I had become a snail! A big 6 foot 1 inch snail. Not going very far, not going very fast and eating lots. Despite grand intentions of starting the year with a bang I started with the pace of snail. Yes I have been a big fat snail…quite an image for you but none the less…it’s the truth.
But the snail down time wasn’t all wasted…I did watch the movie Jane Eyre with Mia Wasikowska and Michael Fassbender several million times and have determined that it is by far my favourite movie of all time. Might have something to do with my huge crush on Michael Fassbender but hey who doesn’t love a handsome ginger that can also drag up submarines in the X-Men movie simply by looking at them and putting his hand up. Yes indeed I HAVE been busy.
I have also started a Business Administration Course. With Dan heading off to Kindergarten this year I was keen to start some study and wanted something that wouldn’t be too scary. After 10 years at home with the kids…I need to ease into it lol! The course it quite enjoyable and not too taxing so it’s been great.
Anyway…back to the snail. So I have been on go slow mode…watching Jane Eyre, tending to family, studying, and doing other things that snails tend to do. Designing has been on the back burner…simmering away…waiting for the right time to come to the boil.
I’m thinking that time is coming very very soon because I have been super inspired lately. A visit from a creative sister and a super exciting project coming to fruition in a couple of months has left me with ideas coming out my ears. Quite scary really…so many ideas…so many things to be created…I can hardly bare it 
So baby…I’m back. Miss Snail is no longer…
Yep I’ve got my Butterfly goin on!
Hmmmm…what’s coming up? Initially…lots of new scrapbook templates and freebies and then in a couple of months…some more big news!!! Can’t wait to share that with you.
